If you want fabulous food on your doorstep, then Belek is a great holiday destination for you! Famous as the dining room of Turkey, Belek has the largest concentration of restaurants in the whole region and they come very highly recommended. But food is not the only reason why people flock to Belek, it is also a hotspot for golf and an enclave for artists. It has also retained its traditional Turkish Rivieran charm, despite its popularity with tourists.
Dining in Belek
One of your biggest decisions when you’re on holiday here is which restaurant to choose. Every street and square is full of restaurants and they all look good. There are so many of them, that it can seem pretty baffling! But, it’s a lovely way to get to know the town, wandering amongst the restaurants, checking out the menus, the dining areas and the atmosphere. Take pictures of the ones you like the most and then you can draw up a list of where to try during your stay. The majority serve Turkish food, from simple tapas to fine dining. However, there are also lots of excellent international restaurants too, if you fancy some variety. Check TripAdvisor to see what past diners have said, decide what kind of food you feel like and take the plunge. There’s so much competition here that the quality tends to be very high.

Where to visit near to Belek
Belek is a great location if you like to explore. It is between Antalya, Side and Manavgat. By visiting these three towns, you’ll get three very different Turkish Riviera experiences.
Antalya is definitely the best known town, as it’s been a global brand since the 60s. It is a great place, which really has something for everyone. You can choose between the international jet-set experience or the traditional Turkish one, or something in the middle. No matter what you’re looking for it has lots to offer.
Serik is a beautiful village perched high above the Turkish Riviera. Surrounded by stunning countryside, it is completely different experience to cosmopolitan Antalya. Its famous gorge is jaw-dropping in its scale and rugged beauty. As the birthplace of bullfighting you can visit the bullring and learn more about it in the museum. Serik is also a wine making region and a visit to a bodega, or a wine tasting, is a great activity.
Finally, we have Bogazkent. A lesser-known town, but a very pretty, vibrant place, which is growing in popularity. Bogazkent is called the Garden of the Turkish Riviera. It has lots of parks and green spaces, plus the largest collection of orchids in Europe. There are also lovely murals so you can enjoy art while you explore.
If you’d like to explore these areas we recommend taking a private transfer. You can choose the size of vehicle to suit your group, when and where you want to be picked up and where you want to go. Once you’ve booked your transfer we’ll take care of the rest, so you can just relax and enjoy the experience.
