Koprulu Canyon National Park

Caminito del Rey

You can have pleasure of going rafting in the mountains to the North East of Antalya, Turkey’s center for family resort vacations and adventure tourism. If you’re considering taking a tour of Turkey then you’ll certainly want to consider coming down to the cool spring waters. Cliff jumping, grilled river trout and ice cold river water are some of the big highlights of a trip down the river.

Koprulu Rafting welcomes friendly and well trained guide who spoke English. You will be floated with a group of Turks and Americans down the Köprüçay River that runs along the Kocabey mountain road to the North of Side and Manavgat, stopping half way at the Smile lunch facilities overlooking the river. At the river facilities you will be a delicious lunch of river trout cooked with bay leaves and wrapped in grape leaves and garlic, or chicken for those feeling a little less adventurous.

After a brief rest at the half way point and some fun jumps into the river from nearby trees and decks you will be got back in the rafts for the second half of our journey down the frigid mountain stream. One of the four rafts in your group will be overturned in the white waters and a second raft will be almost completely overturned as well but will be recovered by the guide due to a false move by one of the paddlers and close proximity.

The Bridge canyon national park is real beatiful place and you must absolutely visit this place if you are in Turkish Riviera ( Belek, Side, Kemer, Alanya, Gazipasa, Manavgat, Kundu, Olimpos etc.

If you are ahead of the group paddling faster and having less people in your raft you will see the events unfold behind us as we quickly scurried around to pick up the floating debris that comes floating down to us including one of the passengers who come floating gently towards us. The waters that are rafted here would not be categorized as a class 3 even meaning it is fairly safe for families with children to come and experience these waters.
